Starting with the positives, The Corvettes Doo Wop Revue rocked out! She played for hours as always and did a bunch of new stuff mixed with the old!!! Her new band was pretty good but we miss Phillip!!
Another matter was getting to the event... They moved the event from Cesars' air conditioning being out to The House of Blues at the Showboat. Not a big deal because Ticketmaster sent an email notification that the event was moved and said that we did not have to change our tickets - they were still good. We get to HOB and upstairs to our event, wait in line to have our tickets scanned and low and behold - we have to get new tickets. Back downstairs to the mess that was the ticketing people. Three lines with literally hundreds of people waiting to have their tickets exchanged. No method to having the tickets exchanged except for randomly grabbing them out of a box. The whole thing was basically a nightmare. People that had front row tickets at Cesars were somehow in the balcony at HOB. The concert was delayed until all tickets were exchanged, which was nice.
